Carrie Dunnagan
Board Member
Carrie has been surrounded by dogs (and drool) since she was 4 years old, as her parents showed Boxers and Shar Peis in conformation. She started working with dogs professionally at the age of 13 (working in grooming shops and caring for dogs in a kennel setting). She became a dog trainer in the early 2000s when we lived in the pack leader/dominance/force era of training. However, in 2014 she was introduced to positive reinforcement training using luring & shaping and she never looked back! She has competed with Fenway, her very entertaining and enthusiastic Labrador, in Rally, Dock Diving, Scent Work, Barn Hunt and they have earned his CGCA & Trick titles. Carrie has been involved in non-profits for a few years, being on the board of an arts organization in San Diego. She also brings her business knowledge to the club, as she has owned a local dog walking company for decades. Happy training, learning and go have fun with your dog!
