Join us for a hands-on, interactive PORTL workshop designed specifically for dog sport competitors! PORTL (Portable Operant Research and Teaching Lab) is a tabletop training game that lets you experience the science of learning firsthand!
In this workshop, you’ll take on the role of both trainer and learner, discovering how behavior is shaped, refined, and strengthened—all without verbal cues, lures, or corrections. By practicing with PORTL, you’ll develop sharper timing, observation, and problem-solving skills, making you a more effective and creative trainer.
No matter what sport you compete in, PORTL will help you think like a scientist and up your training game—all while having a fun playing games!
