Service Description
Description: This class is for teams ready to elevate their Rally performance by focusing on the finer details of the ring entrance routine, sign execution, sequences, and effective handling. With an emphasis on understanding and applying the nuances of Advanced and Excellent-level signs, handlers will learn how to optimize performance while maintaining their dog’s enthusiasm and focus. Short sequences and targeted exercises will help handlers fine-tune their skills, build confidence for trial-level success, and reduce point deductions. Minimum Requirements Students should come to class with: Advanced Foundation Skills: Dogs must reliably perform Advanced-level Rally behaviors, such as Fronts, Finishes, Pivots, and Heelwork, with minimal assistance. Familiarity with signs requiring transitions between stationary and movement-based behaviors (e.g., Halt → Pivot → Forward). Trial Awareness: Handlers should have experience reading Rally maps, walking courses, and trialing at least at the Novice level. Teams should have a basic understanding of point deductions and trial etiquette. Training Tools: Bring trial-appropriate equipment (e.g., flat buckle collars, leashes) and high-value rewards for reinforcing behaviors. Dogs should be comfortable working around other dogs and moderate distractions in a group setting. Class length: 6 weeks

I, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by San Diego Dog Sports Club ("the Organization") in consideration for my participation in any and all dog training sessions, classes, workshops, or events conducted by the Organization: Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that participating in dog training activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of dog bites, scratches, property damage, and personal injury to myself, other participants, or third parties. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Organization, its trainers, instructors, employees, agents, representatives, or volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my participation in the dog training activities provided by the Organization. Responsibility for Dog's Behavior: I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my dog's behavior, actions, and health during the training sessions. I agree to maintain control over my dog at all times and take full responsibility for any harm caused by my dog to others or their property. Assumption of Financial Responsibility: I agree to assume full financial responsibility for any injury or damage caused by my dog while attending or participating in the Organization's training sessions, classes, or events. This includes, but is not limited to, veterinary bills, medical expenses, property damage, or legal fees incurred as a result of my dog's actions. Compliance with Rules and Instructions: I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Organization's trainers or staff during the training sessions. Failure to comply may result in my immediate dismissal from the program without a refund. Photo/Video Release: I consent to the use of any photographs, video recordings, or testimonials taken during the training sessions by the Organization for promotional or educational purposes without compensation. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organization, its trainers, instructors, employees, agents, representatives, or volunteers from any and all claims or liabilities asserted against them as a result of any actions or behavior of myself or my dog.
